Access to FCU Libraries
1.Patrons must use university ID cards when entering the
library. Visitors should register
at the counter near the entrance gate of the library and
are required to provide photo
identification in exchange for a pass card.
2.Patrons who enter the libraries should dress neatly. Wearing
of slippers and flip-flops is
prohibited.
3.Smoking, pets, beverages and food are prohibited in all
library buildings.
Important Information Concerning Library Use
General Use
1. When finished with library materials, do not return them
to the shelf, but instead place
them on designated carts available on each floor.
2. Patrons should comply with copyright regulations when
using library materials.
3. Do not occupy reading seats with personal belongings.
Saving of seats during
temporary absence is limited to 30 minutes.
4. Please lower your voice in the libraries. Electronic
devices such as mobile phones and
pagers should be turned off or switched to vibrating mode
and only used in designated
areas.
5. Do not recharge your mobile phone or other electronic
devices in the library.
6. Compensation will be required for patron-caused losses
or damage to library facilities.
Lockers
1. Valuables, contraband and dangerous materials should not
be left in lockers.
2. The Library is not liable for the loss of, theft of or
damage to personal belongings
stored in lockers.
3. Library staff will check lockers daily. Abandoned items
will be brought to the Reference
Desk.
